Acceptable Use Policy

TestPest AI is built for honest studying. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") lists what isn't allowed on the platform. It is part of our Terms of Service. Violating it can get your account suspended or permanently closed without refund.
1. Don't cheat on real exams
- Don't use TestPest, the AI tutor, the FRQ grader, or any other feature to answer questions during a real, proctored, or graded exam (including AP, SAT, PSAT, ACT, classroom tests, and college-administered exams).
- Don't paste exam content that is under embargo or otherwise covered by a non-disclosure agreement (for example, secure form questions you saw on test day).
- Don't submit work generated by TestPest as your own original writing for a graded assignment unless your teacher allows AI assistance.
2. Be decent to other users
- No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or sexual content directed at other users.
- No doxxing or sharing other people's private information (phone numbers, home addresses, IDs, etc.).
- Display names, profile photos, and pet names must not be offensive, sexual, or impersonate someone else.
- Game rooms, leaderboards, classes, and friend chats are subject to the same rules.
3. Don't abuse the AI tutor or grader
- Don't try to jailbreak, prompt-inject, or trick the AI into producing harmful, illegal, sexual, or hateful content.
- Don't use TestPest to generate weapons instructions, malware, self-harm content, CSAM, or other clearly harmful material.
- Don't pretend to be a younger user to bypass our age gate, and don't share your account with anyone under 13.
4. Don't break the platform
- No scraping, automated mass-downloading, or reselling our question content, explanations, or AI output.
- No attempts to bypass paywalls, rate limits, COPPA gating, or RLS/access controls.
- No penetration testing, denial-of-service attempts, or probing the platform without written permission. Found a security issue? Email testpestai@gmail.com and we'll thank you for it.
- No spam, phishing, malware, or unsolicited commercial messages through any TestPest feature, including tutor chat, friend invites, and class messaging.
5. Don't game the rewards system
- No bots, scripts, or automation to farm XP, coins, streaks, leaderboard ranking, or referrals.
- No creating multiple accounts to self-refer, inflate stats, or evade a suspension.
- Virtual items (XP, coins, medals, streaks) have no cash value and may not be bought, sold, or traded.
6. Respect intellectual property
- Don't upload copyrighted material you don't have the right to share.
- Don't claim AI-generated explanations as your own published work.
- If you believe content on TestPest infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to testpestai@gmail.com with the required information.
7. Enforcement
We may remove content, throttle features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts for AUP violations. Serious violations (CSAM, threats of violence, attacks on the platform) will also be reported to law enforcement.
8. Reporting
If you see behavior that violates this AUP, email testpestai@gmail.com with as much detail as you can. We review reports quickly.
